I have extensive experience of dealing with complex employee relations cases across the full HR remit. I offer a comprehensive, independent, professional and balanced approach to discipline and grievance investigations and processes. I am also experienced in managing long term absence cases to conclusion.

I am able to draft and review policy and procedure to meet organisational need, reflect the latest Diversity and Inclusion practice and support efficient working and good workforce communications. I can also provide Manager’s guidance and briefing sessions to embed changes and updates.

I have recruitment experience at all levels and particularly management roles through to supporting Elected members with senior appointments and improving diversity in recruitment.

I have spent the majority of my career in the public and not-for-profit sectors. I have established and reviewed HR functions, increased efficiency and reduced transactional workload and implemented people and change strategies and created highly engaged (86%) organisations.

I am skilled at linking the Corporate objectives to People related initiatives to effect culture and behaviour change, increasing engagement, consulting effectively with Representative bodies, and reviewing and developing policy and process to support the desired outcomes.
