Rita is a former NHS CEO, who now runs a coaching and leadership development practice. She has extensive experience of working in public service including in partnership with Local Authorities, Police and Fire Services and the Third Sector. She is an experienced coach, accredited at senior practitioner level and is a member of the NHS Leadership Academy Faculty, working on four national programmes, including the Nye Bevan Programme and an Aspirant Chairs programme.
She offers 1:1 coaching, team coaching, supervision, support on inclusion and leadership development programme development and delivery.

Background
Rita is a credible coach, mentor and leadership development specialist, combining recent work in coaching and leadership development, with 25 years’ experience in the NHS and local government. Rita started her career in public health moving into commissioning, social care and then PCT and provider director roles, ending her NHS career as a CCG Accountable Officer. Much of her working life was spent in the West Midlands area. She believes strongly in taking an asset approach, empowering individuals to take control of their situations. She is working with individual clients and at a national level on large scale culture change in the NHS. She has an excellent understanding of approaches to leadership development in public service. As a former BAME leader in the NHS, Rita has first-hand experience of the challenges of creating a more inclusive workforce and she remains committed to supporting organisations to realise the benefits of truly embracing difference.
