Networking
One of the messages that continuous comes through our dialogue with national and regional partners, CEX’s, members, and senior leaders is that today's leaders are increasingly expected to work across organisational boundaries, influence without authority, and navigate complexity. Systems leadership has become one of the key leadership capabilities needed to lead successfully in modern public services.
We will be joined by Amanda Greenwood, WME Associate and Founder of Real Teams Coaching, who will lead an interactive session exploring:
From Parts to Wholes – The Case for Systems Leadership in Turbulent Times
Many of the challenges we face today cannot be solved by one team, one organisation or one profession alone. They are interconnected, constantly evolving and require leaders who can think differently, build relationships across systems and create shared purpose.
During the session we'll explore:
- Why traditional leadership approaches no longer fit many of today's public sector challenges.
- How organisations behave more like living systems than isolated structures.
- Practical frameworks for navigating complexity and uncertainty.
- Real public sector examples of systems leadership in action.
By the end of the session you'll leave with:
- A clearer understanding of what systems leadership is and why it matters.
- Practical insights into the leadership capabilities and behaviours that enable collaboration across organisational boundaries.
- Ideas and tools that you can begin applying within your own organisation and partnerships.
This promises to be another highly interactive session, with opportunities to learn, reflect and share experiences with colleagues from across the region.
