Andrew is a Wellbeing, TEDx and CPD accredited speaker. He’s a podcaster, award-winning campaigner and author, leading in his speaking work on topics which profoundly impact workplace performance, such as burnout, resilience, how to think clearly under pressure, difficult conversations and men’s mental health.
He’s also an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation and has a secondary speaking niche, as a lived experience survivor of domestic abuse talking; coercive control, bullying, gaslighting, and how to support those experiencing abuse.
Andrew has over 20 years’ post graduate HR experience, but his love of learning and development inspired him to create his own speaking business. Today he works with diverse organisations, from Specsavers to the Crown Estate, HSBC, EDF, University of Liverpool, NFU Mutual, National Highways and multiple councils and colleges across the UK.
Andrew delivers insightful and interactive 1-2-hour long workshops, in his own down-to-earth, energetic style, equipping people with practical strategies which they can easily use, so they can operate at their best.

Achievements
• Author of ‘Honestly, Man: why masculinity feels confusing, shame doesn’t help and what to do about it’. Published on August 6th 2026, the book answers 3 questions: 1) Are men struggling? 2) Why are men struggling? 3) How do we help? All profits raised from book sales will be invested in charities/projects supporting men and boys.
• Successful TEDx speaker, whose talk on domestic abuse as a male survivor of abuse has 140k+ views.
• Successful podcaster, whose podcast Men on Show has now completed 60 episodes and tackles tough topics from suicide to burnout, PTSD, addiction, workplace bullying and masculinity in the 21st century.
Career History
After graduating from University of Warwick in 1997, Andrew worked initially in recruitment, sourcing and selecting high level technical staff for the worlds’ largest engineering consultants, including Jacobs, Arup, Atkins. After progressing to team leader level, managing a team of 5 consultants, Andrew set up his own recruitment practice in 2002, working as an independent head-hunter, based initially in London and then in France.
Following the banking crisis and consequences for the construction industry through 2008-2009, Andrew retrained in 2009 and 2010 as a coach, securing his Certificate in Coaching Practice and Diploma in Youth Impact Coaching, before establishing a successful training company, delivering to the NHS, Lloyds, Royal Bank of Scotland, as well as schools, colleges and small businesses.
In 2012, Andrew also started working closely with a local midlands charity which alleviates poverty through its innovative and entrepreneurial work, taking on their coaching, HR and business development lead, expanding the work of the charity, developing new services and helping to create stability in what had been a previously turbulent organisation.
Andrew has been a full-time professional speaker for 4 years but continues to fundraise for various charities.
