How to Use This Resource Pack
This flexible suite of materials is designed to align with Gatsby Benchmarks 2, 4, and support Benchmark 5, making them perfect to integrate into your existing careers program. The resources are particularly suitable for Key Stage 3 students (ages 11-14) but can be adapted for other age groups.
We recommend following the lessons in sequence, but lesson 1 and 3 can also be standalone depending on your specific needs and time available. Areas covered include:

- Fast Track to Success - Understanding apprenticeships and graduate schemes

- A Closer Look at Council Careers - Detailed exploration of specific service areas, linking curriculum learning to careers
- Finding & Applying for Council Jobs - Practical guidance on how to find and apply for jobs, followed by information and exercises to develop practical skills for interviews and assessments.
- Make It Matter Competition – Optional creative challenge with prizes for students
