Chief Executives Network
Solace are pleased to announce we will be holding our West Midlands branch event at West Midlands Employers Offices, JQ Modern, Birmingham on Friday 28th March 25 and delivered in partnership with the LGA and West Midlands Employers. This is an exciting opportunity to meet, network and share with colleagues.
As key Local Government partners in the Region, collectively we are keen to shape and develop a strong network in the Region for Chief Executives, Senior Managers and the leaders of the future that will provide not only peer support but a safe space to discuss confidential issues. As key partners with you, we recognise there is value in us doing that together, to create a network supported directly by Solace, the LGA and West Midlands Employers.
The day will be split into two halves.
Morning
- A small group session for Chief Executives and future Directors and Chief Executives to collaborate and see the potential AI on their organisation of today and consider what it means for the organisation of the future.
- Welcome to JQ – Rebecca Davis, CEO West Midlands Employers – Setting the scene for Local Government 2025
- Transforming the future of Local Government with AI – Expert AI Facilitator and Trainer Heather Murray will be showcasing how the growth in AI can enable service transformation and deliver savings.
- From midday, we invite all colleagues to join us for a light networking lunch enabling you to expand your professional network
Afternoon
- Chief Executive Network (closed session) – Closed session with Siobhan Jones from MHCLG – exploring the latest and most current opportunities and policy direction on Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation
